The Coral Grand Divers PADI IDC is conducted by our experienced PADI Course Director, Vic Travers. An ex-military diver, Vic's recreational diving experience includes 20 years of teaching, boating, diving and management of diving operations on Australia 's Great Barrier Reef .

Vic has 15 years' experience as a PADI Course Director and Instructor Trainer; he has trained and employed at least three of the PADI Examiners who are currently working for PADI Asia Pacific.

Vic has received several awards from PADI, including the award for “Outstanding Contribution to Instructor Training”. He is an Instructor Trainer for EFR (Emergency First Response) and 15 PADI Specialties, including his popular self-authored PADI Shark Diving Specialty . Vic is also a DAN Oxygen Instructor Trainer and DAN First Aid Instructor Trainer and he holds certification as an Australian Commercial Diver.

Assisting Vic with teaching and instruction during your Coral Grand Thailand PADI IDC is a team of multi-lingual, very experienced IDC Staff Instructors and Master Instructors.

It is located 70 km east of the Thai eastern coastline, between Suratthani and Chumphon, approximately 40km North-East of Koh Samui.
