The PADI
Instructor Development Course
Choosing to become a PADI Instructor is one of the
best career choices you can possibly make. It will allow you to
maintain a high standard of living in many tropical areas around the
world, while having fun at the same time.
The PADI IDC
actually consists of two phases:
The Assistant Instructor (AI) phase and The Open Water Scuba
Instructor (OWSI) phase. Completing the AI phase is a prerequisite to
continuing on with the OWSI phase.
Our Programme:
The Coral Grand Instructor Development Course is a
candidate centered 8 - 10 day programme. We have designed it to be
stress free in order for you to absorb the curriculum and prepare for
Instructor Examination and perhaps more importantly; real life
teaching. During the
program you will use the latest teaching techniques, the complete
system of PADI support materials, and will be continuously assessed
on your teaching and presentation skills. You will be required to give
additional teaching presentations beyond that of the usual IDC
Program. This gives you an added advantage not only during the final
Instructor Examination (IE), but also to prepare you for your future
career as a diving professional. Upon completion of the program you
gain entry to one of the most respected communities in the diving
world. PADI Instructors are not only highly respected for the
motivation and level of training but are also highly sought after on
the job market. You can go to places and work that you have
previously only dreamed about visiting. As a PADI Open Water Scuba
Instructor you will be able to teach all PADI Recreational dive
courses from beginner to Divemaster level plus several exciting
specialty diver courses. Should you wish we have many additional
programs you can join after the IDC including an Instructor
Internship and PADI Specialty Instructor Training - in order to make
yourself more employable.
