A Kingdom beneath the surface...
The underwater world of Thailand is filled with
curious looking creatures of all sizes, colors
and shapes. From the petite Clownfish in it's
Sea Anemone host to the gentle sea Turtle that
feeds on the sponges and underwater plants.
All of this is awaiting your discovery once
you become a scuba diver.
At Coral Grand Divers, skills are introduced
in a safe and relaxed environment in our large
swimming pool or secluded bay. All courses are
performance-based, allowing you to progress
at a pace you feel comfortable with. We put
a lot of emphasis on making the experience enjoyable
and fun to make you feel at ease.
The confidence you gain from your training
will have you prepared and excited for your
first Open Water dives.

PADI Discover
Scuba Diving (DSD)
This DSD course is designed for those who would
like to try a diving experience during their vacation
without having to commit to a course or who are
unsure as to whether diving would be an enjoyable
experience for them. DSD involves 2-dives to a maximum
depth of 12m (36ft) under the guidance of a certified
PADI Instructor or 6m (18ft) under the guidance
of a certified PADI Divemaster.

PADI Scuba Diver Course (SD)
The SD course is specifically designed for those
who do not have the time or do not wish to spend
4-days studying and training during their vacation.
This is a 2-day course involving three academic
sessions, three-confined water sessions (swimming
pool or bay) and two open water dives to a maximum
depth of 12m (36ft). Although certified as a PADI
SD, this license requires that PADI Scuba Divers
must dive under the supervision of a PADI professional.

PADI Open Water Course (OW)
The Open Water course (OW) is the first entry-level
course to PADI certification; is a 4-day course;
consists of five academic sessions, five confined
water sessions (swimming pool or bay) and four open
water dives to a maximum depth of 18m under the
guidance of a certified PADI Instructor. After
completion of the OW course, students become internationally
recognized certified divers and may then dive
without professional supervision.

PADI Nitrox Diver Course
(EANx)
This 2-day course is the only PADI specialty course
than can be combined with another course; hence,
you could be on the road to the Master Scuba Diver
qualification if you already hold the EFR & Rescue as well as other specialty qualifications.
The Enriched Air course allows you to be able to
extend your bottom times with a 32% and 36% oxygen
mixture thus allowing you to enjoy some of the more
enjoyable diving experiences such as wreck diving
and deep diving.

PADI Adventure Diver Course
(ADV)
The Adventure course (Adv) is 1-day course for those
who do not have time to complete their Advanced
Open Water course but still wish to walk away with
a certification that allows them to enjoy an even
greater experience and deeper diving. This involves
3-dives, normally a deep dive to a maximum depth
of 30m (100ft), an underwater naturalist dive and
a night dive.

PADI Advanced Open Water
Course (AOW)
The Advanced Open Water Course (AOW) is a 2-day
course that takes the Open Water Diver to the next
level. This course offers 5 dives of which the deep
dive and the underwater navigation dive are mandatory
dives whilst the student may select any 3 dives
such as photography, search & recovery, peak
performance buoyancy, night diving, naturalist to
name just a few. After completion of the AOW course, the student
receives AOW certification and may dive to a maximum
depth of 40m (120ft) with experience.

PADI Rescue Diver Course
(RESC/EFR)
The Emergency First Response (EFR) course is a pre-requisite
to entering the PADI Rescue Diver course in which
the student learns to manage everyday general accidents,
dive emergencies and CPR. This is a 1-day academic
course. The PADI Rescue Diver (Resc) takes AOW
divers towards entirely new level of diving where
managing and preventing problems to others makes
the Rescue Diver a much more aware diver. Probably
the most satisfying of all PADI courses, the PADI
Rescue course is a 3-day course that involves
academic and rescue scenarios that raises the
diver’s level of confidence in their own abilities
to assess, handle and manage emergencies.

PADI Divemaster Course (DM)
The PADI Divemaster (DM) course is the first step
to becoming a PADI professional and a dive leader.
As a PADI DM, the student takes diving to a greater
level learning more academically and practically
about the business of diving, assisting PADI Instructors
as well as improving their own diving skills to
a professional level. This is an eight-week internship
programme to take DM learning to incorporate essential
skills beyond the PADI level.
