 We run 2-trips daily with the first trip departing at 06:30am and our second trip departs 12:30pm. Our morning trips are the deep sites; namely Chumphon Pinnacles, South West Pinnacles and once or twice per week, Sail Rock when conditions allows it. The maximum depths for these morning dives are approximately 27-metres and there is an abundance of hard & soft corals and shoals of fish by the hundreds.
The afternoon trips tend to be closer to the main Island and the maximum depths are normally around 18-metres but again there is still plenty of marine life to be witnessed and again, sharks are regularly seen, particularly Black Tips and more recently Leopard Sharks around the West side of the Island.
Requirements prior to your first dive with Coral Grand Divers, due to the safety of our customers and staff:

- You have not dived within the last year, we highly recommend our diving customers to do a scuba review
If you do not wish to do the Scuba Review. You will have to do your first dive trip on our afternoon boat with shallower dives prior to any other trips or courses. If not feeling that the safety is upheld the Divemaster can cancel the dive if they wish to do so.
- You have not dived within the last 2 years; you will have to do a Scuba Review prior to any dive activity.
- You cannot show your level of experience due to not having a sufficient updated logbook. You will have to do a Scuba Review prior to any dive activity.

There is also quite some large marine life to be witnessed on the morning dives such as the occasional Whale Sharks, large Jenkins’s Rays and currently we are seeing 6 – 8 Grey Reef Sharks and bull sharks on every dive we do at Chumphon.There are approximately 25-dive sites in and around Koh Tao which are accessible to all diver certification levels with the exception being Chumphon Pinnacles and Southwest pinnacle. Certified divers must hold the minimum qualification of Open Water Diver and do two afternoon dives or a scuba review prior to their first morning trip as these sites are located away from the island in more Open Ocean.
PADI Scuba Review: We run the Scuba Review program daily which begins at 9:00am and lasts about 1 ? hours. The program we offer here goes slightly beyond the PADI requirements to ensure additional safe diving practices for our guests and to build up their confidence at entering the underwater world once again. During your Scuba Review, we will go over PADI Open Water quizzes 1, 2 & 3 (you did these in your PADI Open Water Course) and we shall re-introduce you to the Recreational Dive Planner. Once complete (usually 30-minutes), we shall then take you to our beachfront swimming pool and go through the majority of key skills with you which generally come flooding back to you. This program is necessary if you haven’t been diving for more than a year.
Once complete, you are then ready for some nice easy diving on our afternoon trips where our PADI Divemasters can assess, monitor and advise you on your diving skills.

DIVING/DIVE TRIPS
Our diving group sizes do not exceed 6-divers per PADI Divemaster & prices include diving equipment, hot beverages, water and fresh fruit served between dives.
Single trip (2-dives) - THB 2,000 per trip.
Three/Four trips (6/8-dives) - THB 1,600 per trip.
Five trips + (10-dives) - THB 1,400 per trip.
You will receive a discount of 10% should you have your own complete set of equipment except tank and weight.
You will receive a discount of 10% if you are able to show a professional certification level (DM, Instructor etc.). This discount is only accessible if you are a renewed member of your dive organisation.
Minimum charge for a dive regardless of discount is THB 630 per dive.
