Quick and easy introduction to Scuba Diving

Discover Scuba Diving is a quick and easy introduction to exploring the underwater world in Koh Tao in just one day. During the program, you will receive a brief introduction to diving theory and equipment, followed by essential scuba diving skills in our dedicated on-site pool, ensuring your confidence in the water.
After mastering these skills, you'll have the chance to explore two dive sites under the close supervision of a PADI professional, discovering the vibrant and stunning marine life just beneath the surface.

We do our best to make your first experience of Scuba Diving as we would wish as our own first experience. 

• All Discover Scuba experiences are conducted with a maximum of 2 students per PADI Instructor.
  
• In this one-day, laid-back, exciting experience, one of our highly-trained PADI Instructors will guide you and supervise you during two dives at a maximum depth of 12 m.
• Experience our training pool right on-site and enjoy the convenience of boat departures directly from the beach, just steps away from the dive center.
• Coral Grand Divers is fully insured. Whether you book a course or do fun diving, you automatically become insured through us.

During your Discover Scuba Diver course, you'll learn to: 

• Go over the scuba gear you use to dive and how easy it is to move around underwater with it
• Find out what it's like to breath underwater
• Learn essential skills that you'll use during every scuba dive
• Have fun swimming around and exploring

All our videos are edited in Coral Grand Divers. 

When you choose the video option, what we offer you is not just a few underwater shots: it's a real movie in which you will be the star!

Our higly skilled underwater videographer will give you an everlasting memory of your diving experience for an extra 3,000 THB for a maximum of 2 people (1 person: 3,000 THB | 2 people: 3,000 THB). Add 500 THB for each additional person (3 people: 3,500 | 4 people: 4,000THB).

All the videos are edited after the dives. If we don't have time to edit the same day, customers will receive the video by Wetransfer directly to their mailbox the following day.

Customers who want the video option must sign the consent form (IMAGE RIGHTS) because all footage can be used for our communication.

IMPORTANT! -Flying after Diving

When planning your diving trip and your journey toward your destinations, always remember that you must not fly directly after scuba diving. It accentuates the risk of having decompression sickness.

The PADI guidelines are to NOT FLY during a 12 hours interval after a single dive and 18 hours after multiple dives. As often when it comes to scuba diving, take a conservative approach to safety, and whenever possible, avoid flying the next 24 hours after a dive.

If you intend to do multiple dives on different days during your trip, consider buying your own dive computer, as it will calculate the optimal time to fly based on your diving history.

Even more than other outdoor sports, diving is weather- and sea-dependent. Be aware that some sites might be inaccessible on certain days and that diving trips might be canceled due to dangerous conditions.

Luckily, Thailand has a fantastic climate almost all year round and this happens very rarely.
